Official: Russia not to remove 2016 economic support plan steps
MOSCOW, Feb 24 (PRIME) -- The Russian Economic Development Ministry has no plans to reduce the number and scope of the economic stimuli in the plan for 2016, Deputy Minister Oleg Fomichyov told reporters on Wednesday.
Earlier on Wednesday, newspaper Kommersant reported that according to Finance Minister Anton Siluanov, the plans of the Economic Development Ministry require 250 billion rubles of state investment, while available funds amount to 120 billion rubles.
Fomichyov said, “We will not reduce anything there for the time being. Since the majority of costs there are with a footnote saying that the amount and the source will be clarified additionally,” Fomichyov said.
He said that financing will be discussed later in the government.
